[Poly entry 8] Over, once and for all

Seems it was only yesterday that I've spoke of this...[Small chuckle.] Though with more allies, no, more friends on our side, there's something I want to confirm.

In the past, there were numerous things that lead us to our victory. Coincidental occurrences, one after another, and here we are again facing Dhaos as we had on that day-- the day we thought we had finished him once and for all. Despite the rather odd circumstances that we're giving, it's still a matter of life and death. To kill or be killed. Holding onto the one chance of some day leaving this place versus being stuck here forever.

Frankly, that fear still hasn't left me. I'm still afraid of losing and leaving behind all that is precious to me. I'm sure you must all be feeling the same. So if there is anyone who wants to back out, now is the chance to say so. No one will condemn you for it. No one has a right to make that kind of judgment and deny you of those feelings.

My combat skills extend to high level of comptence to complete mastery of various melee weapons and martial art forms. In addition I've got enough engineering expertise to create a stun glove capabale of delivering enough voltage to take out a full grown man.

Oh? Sounds promising. A stun glove, huh? How does it work?

It houses an onboard power source which generates a charge which can be transferred through phsyical contact. The shock disables muscle function and in some cases can knock a person unconscious.

Interesting. Such an item would be of great use, well I suppose you could say, especially for me. Though it sounds risky, having to be fairly close in order to use it. Also, will it work against monsters is the real question.

I used it to incapacitate several monsters that ambushed me before Dhaos made his intentions known to the city.

It's a matter of determination, Chester. If there are those still wavering on the fence then I rather, they didn't force themselves through it. Frankly speaking, they would be a burden to the rest of us.
