Yesterday was yet another odd curse. The sudden urge to want to soar the sky was quite distracting.

Ah.. it reminded me of the days when we still had the wing pack. The use of the Rarebirds were rather nice. The feeling of becoming one with the wind. Hmmm~ it was magnificent.

[He lightly chuckled, remembering the face Arche made when they were all able to fly like she did.]

Oh? Such as?

Pantheism, most Wicca religions, to an extent Buddhism. None of them are terribly common where I'm from and I"m certain there are more that I'm leaving out, certainly I'm not as specific as I should be

Ah, none of which I've ever heard before. Interesting. We have but a single known deity from long ago. However, even her name is rarely spoken.

We've got a multitude of religions in my world and a whole group that claims to have none at all. I think it depends on how you define religion whether you can say you've got one or not.

Why rarely spoken?

I've once read of her existence in an ancient scripture during my research of the summon spirits. Most old and barely legible in some stances. It seems it's simply tapered over the course of the years. One could only make assumptions of exactly why that maybe the case.

However, I've experienced firsthand that she does, indeed, exist. The Goddess Martel and guardian of the Yggdrasil tree.

So religion as a whole has disappeared a great deal from your world?

First hand? Really?

I'm certain each village has their own diety to worship. However, the main goddess is no longer a prominent figure so should I say?

Indeed. At one point, our world was on the verge of losing all of its mana source, due to its overconsumption through the use of magitechnology. If I were to speak of everything involved, this would become a rather long story. But essentially, we were able to revive the Yggdrasil tree and thus strengthen Martel's power once again in order to sustain the world's natural balance.

That would make some sense.

[Reid listens, fascinated but it's too far beyond his realm of understanding to really be able to identify with it.] And it's maintained itself thus far?

Indeed it has. As long as it's consumption isn't abundantly used once again, it should be able to remain stable.

And your world can function on a reduced consumption rate until that time?

[No problem!]

That's how it has for a while after all. The ground roared in fury and the wind cried in pain, however, it pulled through thus far. I'm certain once the mana accumulates, the grass that was withering will regain its true color again.

Interesting. As far as I'm aware there's nothing of the sort in my world. We have resources of course that are waning but nothing like mana.

Such as those in this world I assume?

For the most part: fossil fuels, lumber, water, top soil. Are these things a problem in your world?

[All those resources seemed like they would be from the earth itself. Mana depleted and damage made to the trees, water, soil, meaning indeed less resources.]

Those have a direct correlation to the primary source, which in our case is mana. For example, the trees only grow strong because of this life source. So indeed, I would have to say yes.

Interesting. We have different causes and solutions but the same problems.
