[Poly Entry 24:] Confusing month

Invasion of the plants and now an abundance of loud music? This month certainly has been more confusing to say the least. I suppose devastating can well be added to that list. [sighs to Jennifer's spring cleaning and the destruction of precious books in the library.]
In either case, I'd like to hear what others think of these signs. The appearance of the sand and change in landscape. Has something like this happened before?

...I want to know why you're interested. You should have to worry about it; my friend is helping me deal with it right now, so hopefully it won't need to be an issue any longer...

As is usually, conveniently, the case, he had the apartment to himself. He set about brewing a pot of tea while he waited for Klarth. Tyr wasn't exactly the hospitable sort, but tea always gave something to concentrate on when things became awkward. ]

Date: 2011-04-06 11:13 pm (UTC)[Once he's made certain everything was all right at home, Klarth immediately left to meet Tyr at his place. There were little hints here and there of his condition but the summoner never thought to ask further for it truly was none of his business. Or so he thought until now.
He weakly smiled to himself as he thought of the first time he meet Cless and Mint. How cold he was to them. He was becoming more and more soft, enough to even tag along to play their little matchmaking role for the couple back at home. He had to admit he was curious of just how different this 'curse' may be from the rest and perhaps the slight funk he was in on his research tempted him more to offer the hand.
However, undeniably, the boy had somehow slowly snuck into his life over these past few months and was now a valuable friend, just like many others he had met over the years. This was another journey they were all on. He wasn't about to leave Tyr to suffer if there was something he could do to help. But first, it was time to find out just what that problem is before he could truly offer his aid.
With a knock on his door, he waited for the other to answer.]

Date: 2011-04-08 01:41 am (UTC)[ While he waited for the kettle to boil, Tyr absently played with the glove, tugging on the fingers and then pulling it back on. How would he go about this, he wondered. He was sure it shouldn't be hard. Klarth was his friend, probably the only one not from his world he felt really comfortable with; it was hard not to be casual with a guy who teased you about your love life and then shared his own position. It wasn't that, though. The more he thought of it, he was sure Klarth was probably one of the only people who he should tell about this who would neither brush off his concerns like Katara did nor have a personal investment like Yuri or Flynn might.
He was never really close to the scientists in his army years ago, and now he felt like Klarth and Rita were the only two who he trusted and thought should know. Besides Katara, of course, whose faith was becoming more of a burden. He honestly couldn't blame anyone but himself for any new crosses he'd have to bear, though. With any luck, though, he wouldn't need to. Klarth and Rita could help him, he reminded himself.
The knock on the door broke Tyr from his thoughts immediately. Walking briskly over to the door, he opened it wide for Klarth to enter. ]
Come on in. The kitchen is down the hall.

[He carefully studied Tyr's state giving him an occasional glance as he followed slightly to the side and behind him. He seemed fine at the moment, but only time would tell depending on what they end up discussing. He decided to break the silence with small talk.]
Ah, I hope I haven't interrupted anything. How are things on your end?

Same here. Besides the usual occurrences at home, fortunately, nothing beyond that. I must admit, having others around does give a sense of comfort despite just how loud it can become sometimes.
